One of the most enjoyable television projects of this year left viewers with a lot of character (and office space) left to explore. A friend was asking about the affordances of web-based virtual reality and these endless white hallways offered the perfect sandbox to ideate a multi-user fan experience to uncover bonus storytelling experiences and clues to the future narrative.

Did anyone else ever play Scarab of Ra? One of the first games I ever played on a Mac exploring endless passages and doors, trying not to get caught by a creepy monkey. Sprinkle in a little Myst and the possibilities are endless for the players to keep changing the game map while unlocking new rooms and characters.

Apple is extraordinary at blending hardware and content, especially through its ecosystem of connected devices. Recent reports suggest Safari will begin to offer features for immersive and extended reality experiences, unlocking the opportunity for its customers to seamlessly migrate between Apple TV storytelling content and a mobile, keyboard or headset experience.
