Only July 14, actor Brendan Bradley was assigned as a head Strike Captain volunteer at Paramount Pictures Studio and went viral making daily videos about his experiences working on over 100 tv shows, movies, video games and commercials.

As Hollywood plans to reopen after a historic labor movement through renewed partnerships between legacy entertainment companies and talent, Paramount Global may have a unique marketing opportunity, rooted in their own brand and history.

The original stars in the Paramount logo famously represented the first slate of performers hired under contract. Over a hundred years later, the iconic gates that stood before talkies… before television… before streaming… can now welcome a new slate of talent.

Many in the entertainment community already identify Brendan Bradley as a “Paramount Personality,” with millions of views and interviews in Rolling Stone, LA Times and Fast Company; recognized for his positivity and pineapple hat.

With previous appearances on NCIS, Elementary, Doubt, and Timeless; Brendan has already been vetted by CBS and Paramount Global staff and fans.

Brendan has 4 completed feature films currently without distribution (example) and several un-produced screenplays and treatments. He also is a pioneer in live, virtual reality experiences and currently touring an interactive musical. Some of these properties could be integrated into Paramount’s 23-24 release schedule in conjunction with Brendan joining or debuting the cast of a new or existing CBS episodic franchise.

Brendan could continue to make his daily Paramount videos… now from inside the gates as part of a slate of influencer-meets-contract-player.

A human-interest story like this (and an ensemble of other actors and writers) could organically develop from the shut down to reinstate Paramount’s legacy as a thought-leader and first-mover, fostering the next generation of stars.
