Live Theatre in Virtual Reality

PANEL, DEMO & FULL PERFORMANCE

M A R C H 1 7 @ 2:30 & 8:00 PM

Brendan Bradley will perform three different presentations on March 17th, a 12:30 panel about Producing Virtual Reality Theatre, followed by a 2:30 live demo in Hall 3’s USITTLAB and then across the street for an 8pm full performance of the original musical, Non-Player Character at MX Movies & Bar.

SYNOPSIS

When a video game hero dies, the audience must guide a non-player character (performed by a live, singing actor) through five virtual worlds of grief, either as “Participants” in VR headset on stage or “Spectators” watching on the big screen. Brendan Bradley’s work in virtual reality storytelling brings this live, interactive musical to St. Louis, inviting theater and gaming fans to control the adventure.
