TWO ACTORS IMPROVISE A FILM IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER
THE HOMEBODIES follows a young couple struggling to pay mortgage who turn to the world of “camming” to pay the bills during a recession. A satirical examination of their own experiences blurring the lines and relationships of their respective online communities, Brendan and Ashley began improvising and filming the story in chronological order.
With only the two of them to write, produce, film, and edit the entire project, it was impossible to livestream the experience. However as they film using a 2-camera set up, they can retroactively inviting anyone to join their "virtual video village" while they edit and examine one raw take each day to discuss the ongoing filmmaking process and collaborate with their followers in real-time.

The Homebodies began as a daily-distraction podcast from Brendan's closet until he realized he was spending 4-5 hours a day making a news show, instead of the narrative content he loves.
